Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following documents when submitting their application:

• Passport-size photograph
• Valid passport (must be valid for at least one year)
• High school diploma
• Official transcript of grades
• English language certificate (if required, see below for further instructions)
• Any additional documents requested during the admissions process

Important:

If your documents are issued in a language other than English or Polish, official translations into English must be provided

Applications are evaluated based on:

• The Online admission examination and interview

Online Admission Examination

The online admission process consists of the following three components:

1) Subject-Specific Examination

The subject-specific examination evaluates the candidate’s knowledge in Biology and two additional subjects selected by the applicant from the following:

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics

This examination is designed to assess the candidate’s readiness for the medical program and their understanding of fundamental scientific concepts.

2) Qualification Test

The qualification exam is a seperate examination which consists of:

• 20 questions
• Completed in 20 minutes
• Questions focus on basic terminology in Life Sciences and Mathematical Sciences

3) Interview

During the interview, applicants may be asked questions related to:

Their motivation for studying medicine
Empathy and communication skills
Teamwork and future goals in the medical field
Basic terminology in Life Sciences and Mathematical Sciences

The maximum possible score is 500 points, distributed as follows:

Subject-Specific Exam – Biology (mandatory) — up to 100 points
Subject-Specific Exam – Two additional subjects — 100 points each
Qualification Test — up to 100 points
Interview — up to 100 points

Applicants who are accepted by the Admissions Committee must submit the following documents within the specified timeframe:

• Passport – Government issued passport valid for minimum of one year
• English Language Certificate (check the next section regarding this requirement)

• NAWA Certification

Starting July 1, 2025, applicants whose secondary school diploma was issued outside the EU, EFTA, or OECD, and whose country does not have a bilateral agreement with Poland, must obtain:

An Official Statement from the Director of NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) confirming that the diploma allows the holder to pursue higher education.

• Legalized Copy or Original High School Diploma

Applicants must submit:

• Original legalized high school diploma, or its notarized copy

Legalization confirms the authenticity of a document issued abroad so that it can be recognized by Polish institutions.

The legalization process depends on the country where the document was issued.

For countries that are part of the Hague Convention, the candidates must have their High School Diploma and Transcripts apostilled.

For countries not part of the Hague Convention, consular legalization is required. This means the document must:

1. Be legalized by the Ministry of Education or Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country where it was issued, and
2. Be legalized by the Polish diplomatic or consular office in that country.

Legalized High School Transcript

Applicants must also submit:

• Original legalized high school transcript, or
• Legalized copy of the transcript

The same legalization procedures described above apply to transcripts.

Applicants must provide a valid English language certificate at a minimum level of B2 including reading, listening, speaking and writing, as required by Polish law.

Accepted certificates include:

• TOEFL
• IELTS

This requirement may be waived if the applicant holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university where English was the language of instruction.

If the diploma does not clearly state this, applicants must also provide additional documentation confirming that their studies were conducted in English.

Applicants must also submit the following documents:

• Health certificate
• Hepatitis B vaccination certificate
• Health insurance policy

Detailed instructions on where and how to submit the final documents will be provided to each accepted applicant.

All documents must be submitted as:

• Original documents, or
• Notarized copies, or
• Official documents sealed and signed by the issuing institution.

If documents are not in English, certified English translations must be attached.
