Head of Department of Innovative Education Visits New York to Discuss Clinical Rotations Program for MUL Students

New York, NY – In a significant step toward strengthening international medical education opportunities, Ms. Magda Staskiewicz, Head of the Department of Innovative Education at the Medical University of Lublin (MUL), visited New York City to engage in high-level discussions regarding the Clinical Rotation Program in the United States for MUL medical students.

The visit focused on expanding and enhancing the structure and delivery of clinical training for MUL students within U.S. healthcare institutions. Ms. Staskiewicz met with officials from the university’s international coordination team to review the progress of the current rotation system and to explore new pathways that align with evolving accreditation standards and clinical competencies.

Joining the discussions were Mr. Julius Romero, MHA, a senior advisor to the Clinical Rotation Program, and Dr. Jerry Jacob, MD, PhD, Assistant Dean of the Medical University of Lublin. Both Dr. Jacob and Mr. Romero play a key role in the ongoing development and quality assurance of the university’s medical education and clnical partnerships across the United States.

“This visit reflects our commitment to providing MUL students with a rigorous, hands-on clinical education in some of the top hospitals and healthcare systems in the U.S.,” said Dr. Jacob. “Our goal is to ensure that our students are not only meeting the requirements for global licensure but are also well-prepared to deliver excellent patient care wherever they choose to practice.”

The Medical University of Lublin has long been recognized for its efforts to create globally competitive educational pathways. The Clinical Rotation Program in the U.S. allows MUL students to gain vital real-world experience and exposure to diverse patient populations, healthcare technologies, and medical practices.

The meetings also addressed the integration of innovative teaching methodologies, evaluation tools, and ongoing support systems to assist students during their rotations, especially as they prepare for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and future residency applications.

This strategic visit marks another step in MUL’s broader vision to cultivate an internationally responsive medical education system, fostering global partnerships and enhancing student readiness for the future of healthcare.
